Manchester United fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern don’t really know what to make of the news they have just read in the Daily Star – with the publication claiming that the Red Devils will reject any bids from other clubs for their goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
The Spanish keeper has been playing second fiddle to David De Gea who has simply been incredible this season, and who looks set to join Rafa Benitez’ Real Madrid this summer.
The 33-year-old keeper is reaching the latter stages of his playing career, but it seems that he will remain at Old Trafford for another season to fight for the number one jersey.
A plethora of Manchester United fans here inside the Transfer Tavern were hoping that it was De Gea who LVG would be snubbing offers for, but it turns out to be Valdes.
