Manchester United set to stick with underachieving manager

The club’s hierarchy are seemingly set to let the manager see out the final year of his three-year contract, with talks over summer signings and pre-season preparations well underway at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have remained unconvincing this season and the club’s supporters are demanding that LVG is shown the door during the summer, with a new manager appointed in time for next season.

One of the regular punters here in the Tavern is a die-hard Manchester United supporter and he thinks that the supporters who visit Old Trafford regularly will be extremely disgruntled if van Gaal gets the nod for next season, citing the Champions League exit as one of the main reasons the fans want to see the back of him.
