Manchester United should seek for long term Carrick replacement and sign this La Liga star

Manchester United have some rebuilding coming up over the next few years, and Jose Mourinho will have quite the job on his hands to replace some of the more elderly stars in his squad.

The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Michael Carrick are both expected to move on during the summer either into retirement or for one final move for first team football, and our landlord thinks the club need to go about replacing these sorts of players.

The big miss he thinks will be Carrick, who has been a mainstay of the Red Devils line-up for the last decade, and despite him being often an unsung hero, he is still a vital member of the squad.

Our landlord thinks replacing Carrick could be tough, but he thinks the club should go all out and try and convince Real Madrid to part ways with World Cup winning midfielder Toni Kroos.

The classy central midfield ace has all the tools and is already a world class operator, and despite being into his late 20’s now, would represent a player who can maintain a place in the United midfield for years to come.

Kroos is proven at the top level, proven at international football, and lives for success. He’s the ideal sort of signing for United, and one who would turn heads and really get United fans talking about being genuine contenders in both Europe and in the Premier League.

Red Devils, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
