For Manchester United fans, this season represents a huge test in their history, with the club under increasing pressure to once again make a managerial change and get rid of Jose Mourinho.

This sort of instablity and rash decision making is something the United fans were simply not used to under the Alex Ferguson era, and it's a testing time for the club both on, and off the field.

With the backing or sacking of any manager though come questions about the playing staff, and that is the case with United, with plenty of the first team squad simply not performing as they should be.

That's why we believe signing £20.7m-rated Monaco star Djibril Sidibe would be a superb move by the club, as they look for a long term replacement for wantaway right back Antonio Valencia.

The flying French full back has been superb over a number of seasons now for both club and country, and a move to England would seem to be the next step in his career as he seeks to make a further impact and enhance his already big reputation that bit further.

Sidibe possesses tremendous pace, power, and athleticism down the right hand side, and he would be the ideal sort of replacement for Valencia down the right hand side at Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans, what do you think? Would Sidibe be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
