Metro have claimed that Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez has hit out at one of his fellow players.
Punters in the Football Transfer Tavern realise that the squabbling at Manchester United isn’t going to do the Red Devils any good with Champions League qualification still the aim as the season draws to its latter stages.
The Mexican forward has been on the fringes of things this season to say the very least, and after hearing the negative comments made by fellow forward Robin van Persie, Hernandez clearly took offence and decided to make his feelings rather plain.
The striker took to social media (what else) and posted a picture of himself and Partice Evra along with a rather catty caption, noting: ‘Without your teammates you can’t be somebody in football, always be thankful…’
As one of our punters moves away from the pool table and towards the bar to join in the discussion, we note that this can’t exactly have helped the atmosphere in the dressing room.
Given the fact that RVP is unhappy at the club, and skipper Nemanja Vidic refuses to even change next to his fellow players, we think that smart money could well be on a fair few more exits at Old Trafford this summer!
Is this really the beginning of the end for van Persie at Old Trafford? Is Hernandez’ sentiment correct? Let us know your thoughts below.
