Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are finally enjoying their pints after the latest claim from the Daily Mirror.
The publication claims that Portuguese winger Nani could well be finally set to leave the club in the summer, despite signing a new five-year deal last September.
Nani has never been a punters favourite here in the tavern and we would not exactly be sorry to see him leave for pastures new.
After being asked about his client’s future, Andrea Pastorello claimed: “Nani is a very important player and at this time the only thing I can say is that he is likely to leave Manchester.”
He was also asked about the potential destination of Nani, and noted: “The problem for Fiorentina and other Italian clubs is the player’s salary. But we will evaluate all bids.
“Our relationship with United is great. Fiorentina have to speak with Manchester United about Anderson [who is on loan from the Reds to the Florence club] and maybe there will be an opportunity to talk about Nani, too.”
Do you think Moyes will get rid of the deadwood at Old Trafford this summer or will Nani manage to stay at the club? Let us know your thoughts below.
