Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are devastated after the Daily Mail revealed that David De Gea has told his Manchester United teammates he wants to leave Old Trafford.
This is a warning to the Red Devils to prepare for Real Madrid’s offer for the goalkeeper.
Los Blancos are currently lining up a deal for the shot stopper and it seems as though De Gea is the first person to open up about the situation.
His United teammates see it is a matter of time before he makes the move to the Bernabeu as they prepare for life without the 24-year-old, who bailed them out on plenty occasions last season.
Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is seen as the best replacement for the Spaniard but he set to cost over £30m so Louis van Gaal could look to sign Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak.
And if he fails to sign one of these targets he could look to Victor Valdes to step in as his number one.
