And according to the Daily Telegraph it’s time for Louis van Gaal to decide once and for all where the Brazilian’s Manchester United career is going.
The 26-year-old did very little in Italy to warrant a permanent transfer to Fiorentina and there aren’t likely to be all that many suitors willing to pay even close to watch the Red Devils did.
Anderson signed for a whopping £26 million from Porto in May 2007 and United will now have to decide whether to give him one more shot or cut their monumental losses.
The former Brazil internationals’ contract at Old Trafford only runs until June 2015 so they risk losing the midfielder on a free – although that currently seems a fair price.
And it is believed that new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and executive vice chairman Ed Woodward will discuss his future at the club in the next couple of weeks.
Manchester United fans. Can Anderson really offer your club something this season or is it time to just cut your losses and flog the Brazilian midfielder? Let us know your thoughts below.
