The Daily Star have Manchester United fans looking keenly up from their pints here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they carry information on the future of Javier Hernandez.
The Mexican forward has been linked with the exit door at Old Trafford for a while now and it seems that even he is unsure of what will happen with his father commenting that he is linked with a new club, seemingly everyday.
As one of our punters notes, this is pretty much standard for a fringe player during a period in which the transfer window is open and we were interested to hear what Hernandez makes of the situation himself.
He said: “There are many clubs that want me, but at the moment I am a Manchester United player and it isn’t respectful to talk about other teams.”
Our landlord reminds us that van Gaal may yet sell the player to raise funds or indeed lure other players to Old Trafford and we still think a bid may yet come in from Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid.
Manchester United fans. Do you think Hernandez still has a big part to play at the club? Will he eventually be sold for cash or just to make space in the squad? Let us know your thoughts below.
