It was another bad weekend for Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern and Metro may make it worse.
The publication claims that Danny Welbeck could well be on his way out of the club after manager David Moyes refused to deny rumours linking the forward with the exit door.
Welbeck is concerned that he will not get the chances he needs to prove his worth at the club next season, and is also doubtful of the amount of trust manager David Moyes has in him.
Moyes spoke after the Everton loss – where he actually thought his side were the better team – and spoke about Welbeck, who has reportedly asked for a transfer.
The chosen one noted: “I can only tell you Danny’s really important to me and really important to Manchester United.”
As one of our regulars notes over a beer and a burger special, that does not do much to make us think that Moyes intends to keep the forward, who was limited to a cameo role of only 15 minutes this weekend.
Do you think Moyes will keep Welbeck or is he better off running away from the club who are in serious decline? Let us know your thoughts below.
