Manchester United have a huge season on the horizon and the pressure is very much on United manager Jose Mourinho as he aims to build a squad that can compete in the title race next time around.
The Red Devils were way off the pace last season as they failed to even finish in the top-four but thanks to their success in the Europa League, they did earn the right to play in the Champions League next season.
Of course, the need to improve the squad is increasing as their Champions League games move ever-closer and there’s thought amongst the Reds fans here in the bar that improvements need to start arriving sooner rather than later, especially considering Manchester City’s keenness to start adding early.
But there’s one man Jose Mourinho still has his eye on despite reports lining United with a move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and that’s Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, who’s future still remains very much in doubt despite his unwillingness to sign a new deal at Goodison Park.
According to the Sun, Mourinho still remains extremely keen on bringing Lukaku to Old Trafford.
The Belgian international has shown a real amount of class over the past few years in the Premier League and since his move to Everton, he’s become ten times the player he was when he first left Stamford Bridge all those years ago.
And it seems that Mourinho might still be interested in pursuing a move for Lukaku, even with his interest in Morata still as high as ever.
