Manchester United striker one of a number on West Ham United transfer wish-list

Javier Hernandez West Ham supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern have enjoyed their week more than most, after watching the Hammers produce the most impressive display of the opening weekend.

Slaven Bilic saw his side produce a shock 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates, and the new West Ham boss is now looking to add a striker to his exciting looking squad.

The Evening Standard believes the Hammers have as many as 12 strikers in their sight, two of which are Tottenham outcast Emmanuel Adebayor, and Manchester United’s unwanted Javier Hernandez.

Tottenham are looking to offload Adebayor for around £5million, with the former Arsenal and Manchester City striker a proven goalscorer at Premier League level.
