There are plenty of transfer rumours concerning Manchester United for our punters in the Football Transfer Tavern to get stuck into, with the latest coming courtesy of The Independent.
The publication reckons Juventus midfielder Artuto Vidal has left the door open for a potential switch to Old Trafford, after claiming he would ‘love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world’.
However, the Chilean star will not make a decision on his future until he returns to Juventus to hold talks.
The 27-year-old is currently on holiday following his appearance at the World Cup, but refused to rule out a switch to the Red Devils when quizzed by Chilean newspaper Le Tercera.
“I’ve heard about the rumours, but I haven’t spoken more about this subject,” Vidal said when asked about the move.
“I’m enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I’ll see what happens.
“I’m very calm, but anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
United have already spent over £60 million this transfer window on the signings of Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw, however more players are expected to be brought in with Louis van Gaal scheduled to take over at the club this week.
