According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are checking on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 19-year-old is interested in leaving the French giants as he looks for regular first team action elsewhere.
He has only appeared 31 times for the Ligue 1 winners since 2012 scoring two goals in the process and he’s rumoured to be interested in a move to England.
His progress has been tracked by Premier League trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in recent months and now Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United have joined the chase.
The Dutchman who has just taken over at Old Trafford has already been linked with several midfielders this summer as he looks to rebuild a struggling side.
Cesc Fabregas and Toni Kroos were previously believed to have been top of his wishlist but those moves have seemingly gone cold.
The Red Devils will be looking to replace Marouane Fellaini this summer after David Moyes’ £27.5 million deadline day signing proved a massive flop.
Tom Cleverley could also be on the way out of Old Trafford as van Gaal looks to shake up the former champions with a £150 million transfer war chest at his disposal.
Manchester United fans. If Rabiot is struggling to get in the PSG starting XI then how can he be good enough for a club as big as Manchester United? Let us know your thoughts below.
