Manchester United to rescue season via swap deal?

Marco ReusManchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern look nervous today as though they are set to play one of the best sides in Europe.

That’s not really the case as David Moyes’ side travel to Sunderland in the evening kick off but United fans are still worried about the game.

It’s an indication of how the season has gone so far that they are not sure about winning a match at the Stadium of Light.

Bookies who often come in the tavern are even offering 7/1 for United to win the Premier League title as the club sit eight points off Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.

Something needs to change at Old Trafford and today’s talkSPORT suggests that Moyes is looking to bring in one of the finest young midfielders in the world to help rescue the campaign.

The publication report that Borussia Dortmund midfield ace Marcos Reus could make the switch to Old Trafford with Japanese ace Shinji Kagawa moving back to Westfalenstadion as part of a possible deal in January.

The 24-year-old German has been mightily impressive since signing for Jurgen Klopp’s side from Borussia Monchengladbach 18 months ago and now Moyes is looking to add the dynamic, creative player to his side.

Kagawa could end his disappointing spell at Old Trafford as part of the deal – something that United fans in the tavern would welcome, especially in exchange for the superb Reus.

Manchester United fans. Would you willingly swap Kagawa for Reus? Let us know your thoughts below.
