The Daily Star have confirmed what the majority of our punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern already thought as they note Manchester United are willing to sell THREE players to finance an assault on the transfer market.
The Red Devils have a huge amount of transfer targets and as we expected, none are exactly cheap.
This means he will have to sell before they can buy despite already having a pretty impressive budget this winter – or should manager Louis van Gaal decide to wait before he spends – the summer.
The players up for sale are reported to be Anderson, Anders Lindergaard and Nani (pictured) with the latter star currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon with United open to his permanent departure.
According to our regulars, all of the aforementioned Red Devils stars have no chance of getting into the first team any time soon.
Whilst they will not exactly raise the £200 million LVG reportedly requires, they will go some way to funding moves for the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels, Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin and potentially even Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani.
Manchester United fans. Would you be averse to any of Anderson, Nani and Lindegaard permanently leaving Old Trafford in the near future? Let us know your thoughts below.
