Manchester United urged to give-up on prime transfer target

United have been urged by Bayern Munich to give up their pursuit of Thomas Muller, as reported by Bildas the Bavarian side are not willing to sell the player for any price.

Louis Van Gaal’s side reportedly saw a £71m bid rejected for the World Cup star over the summer, with Bayern keen to keep Muller at his boyhood club.

Christian Falk, lead football writer at Bild, broke the news on Twitter with a humorous post that suggested Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is fed-up with receiving offers from United counterpart Ed Woodward.

United fans at the Tavern aren’t impressed with these reports, which they see as humiliating, and believe their side should start eying other targets that they have a better chance of luring to Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans, is it time to give up on the dream of signing Thomas Muller? Let us know below in the comments!
