Radamel Falcao’s future hangs in the balance at Manchester United as the Daily Mirror have revealed that the Monaco striker must prove his fitness to the Red Devils before they commit to a permanent deal worth £43 million.
The Colombian international forward has had a frustrating time in the Premier League as he has only made three starts and has only managed to score one goal for the Red Devils.
The 28-year-old suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury, which ruled him out of the World Cup and it seems niggling injuries since have just held back his career in Manchester.
Louis van Gaal must be growing frustrated as he has a player of Falcao’s calibre stuck on the sidelines in a period where he can do with all the help he can get, as he fights to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.
And it is expected that United will make their decision over the next two months as they decide whether or not it is worth making his stay permanent.
However, it is believed that the unfit forward is determined to prove his worth at United and is desperate to realise a long-term future at Old Trafford.
