Manchester United winger hoping to extend loan spell

nani1Manchester United fans are happy in the Football Transfer Tavern that their on loan winger is looking to extend his stay in Portugal, insisting he is happy in his homeland.

According to talkSPORT, Nani has revealed he may never return to Old Trafford as he could look to lengthen his spell at Sporting Lisbon.

The reason why this is good news for some fans is because they want to get rid of deadwood and pave the way financially for more arrivals in January.

One of the reasons why Louis van Gaal sent the 27-year-old on loan to the Portuguese club is because in exchange they were able to sign Marcos Rojo.

It seemed that on arrival van Gaal was not a fan of Nani and despite the fact he signed a deal keeping him at the club until 2018, this didn’t stop the new boss from shipping him out of the club as quick as possible.

Nani said: “At this moment the most important thing for me is to be here among my people. They have close people who care about me at Sporting and they want me here. Everybody here is close to me and supports me. I’m happy to be back.”
