Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has recently been linked with moves away from Old Trafford with Inter and Anzhi looming as possible destinations. However according to his agent Silvano Martina it is all a ‘hoax’ set up by a Serbian journalist. Vidic’s agent has quickly come out to dismiss any truth in these rumours of his client’s transfer to Internazionale.
Speculation had materialised over the past few weeks linking the recently retired Serbian international with a move to Inter Milan or Russian big spenders Aznhi Makhachkala, as he felt a new fresh challenge was on the cards. However according to his agent, Martiani has quickly rubbished such nonsense.
Martiani said: “There is absolutely nothing true about the rumours,” he told FC Inter News. “It is all a hoax set up by a Serbian journalist.
“I can assure you that Inter are not trying to take Vidic – in that case I would have made a call. They are also spreading speculation about a move to Anzhi, which is false.
“They persist, but I must ask this question: At this particular time, which player would leave Manchester United to go to Inter?”
