4-2-3-1: If Mourinho fields this Man United XI, Palace won’t have a chance

Another brilliant performance mid-week and the Man United fans here in the Transfer Tavern want another win this weekend against struggling Crystal Palace

Last season the Red Devils struggled against the lower in the league clubs, often drawing and not being clinical enough in front of goal. They’ll want to prove a point against bottom of the league Palace that this season is different to last, especially if they are serious about mounting a title challenge.

These type of matches are the difference makers. Missing a few key players out to injury and possibly the in-form Anthony Martial, manager Jose Mourinho will be looking again at giving them few fringe players a chance to stake a claim in the side.

They might not have it as easy as they did mid-week, with a Palace side under new management and looking to impress after a few weeks work with Roy Hodgson. Still, this United side will be looking at adding goals to better their difference early on, as our punters believe the league looks like it’s going to be that tight.

Our landlord thinks that making Old Trafford a place to be feared again is one thing they can start to build come Saturday with a convincing win.
