Manchester United have been in quite sensational form as of late, with the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer proving to be exactly what they needed.
The cult hero has given the players a sense of belief and the freedom to go out there on a match-day and express themselves.
With the players Manchester United have, that was always likely to happen but whether they can keep this up for the remainder of the season is yet unknown.
Whatever happens cannot affect the inevitable – Manchester United must do some business in the summer transfer window.
A number of positions are due some improvements and starting off at the back in a position that could definitely be improved. Right-back is a slot where Real Madrid’s Alvaro Odriozola would fit nicely into and United must do all the can to make that deal happen.
Odriozola, (who is valued at £27 million on Transfermarkt) only joined Los Blancos but Manchester United could do all the can to get him to Old Trafford at the next opportunity.
Why? Because right-back would be considered a position of concern for United, with Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young ageing, whilst Diogo Dalot is still getting used to the Premier League.
So with that in mind, United would do very well to recruit the Spanish full-back, who boasts some terrific stats this season.
Having played 16 times, he has assisted a goal every other goal with eight to his name, scored one goal himself and helped to provide seven clean-sheets in the games he’s played.
Stats like that shouldn’t go unnoticed and it’s easy to tell that Alvaro Odriozola is ready to play on a more regular basis with a move to Manchester United. Not since Gary Neville have United had such a good player in such a key position.
