Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned that Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have played his last game for the club.
The Swedish striker limped off during the Red Devils’ 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday night with a nasty-looking injury and now looks set to miss the rest of the season, according to an update from Sky Sports.

That could have a monumental impact on United’s final run in, with Ibrahimovic netting 17 of the Red Devils’ 48 Premier League goals so far this term and proving their most potent force in attack by quite some distance.
And although United fans in the Tavern aren’t too concerned about their side’s chances of getting past Burnley this weekend in Zlatan’s absence – even though the Clarets have a pretty strong record at Turf Moor – they do fear for how their side’s attack will fare when they face Manchester City next week.
The Red Devils travel to the Etihad Stadium next Thursday and will need a win to enhance their chances of finishing inside the Premier League’s top four, with City in fourth place and four points ahead of their bitter rivals.
It could be a huge game in the context of United’s bid for Champions League qualification and Zlatan’s expected absence will make it that little bit harder.
