Balague: This is why Real Madrid could sell Man United target Bale

Despite playing a starring role in Real Madrid’s recent successes, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern still dream about signing Gareth Bale.

Though any deal to bring the Welshman back to the Premier League has always looked far too difficult, the seemingly annual suggestions the Red Devils could sign him have once again risen to the surface of the punters’ mind.

He’s recently been touted for what would surely be one of the biggest moves of all time and Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague has had his say on the matter.

Answering a Q&A on Twitter, the expert has revealed that Los Blancos plan to keep both the 27-year-old AND Isco, though there could be a change on one condition.

He suggests that the situation could change if Bale continues to be hampered with injuries next season, missing swathes of this campaign with niggling ailments.

”Having Isco and Bale is fantastic because it allows Real to attack in different ways, so the idea at the moment is to keep both”, writes Balague.

”The situation may change if, after another year of battling with Isco, Bale continues to be hampered by injuries.”

While our United fans know not to get too excited about suggestions they could be in for Bale, a few of them certainly are dreaming.
