Blockbuster PSG forward willing to accept Man United move on one sensational condition

IbrahimovicUnderstandably, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have had rather solemn looks on their faces as they order the drinks in which to drown their Tottenham Hotspur induced sorrows.

That was until Sky Sports broke the news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic WOULD be willing to join the club if Louis van Gaal departs.

What’s that old saying? Two birds, one stone?

The talismanic Swedish forward is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer as his contract expires after a hugely successful stint in the French capital. Not only has he broken their all-time scoring record, the 34-year old has won four successive league titles, as well as a raft of cup competitions.

Despite his ageing years, the mesmeric form displayed this season (becoming the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to reach 30 goals this term) has seen him linked with a move to the Premier League.

Manchester United are said to be among the frontrunners to lure the former Barcelona and AC Milan superstar to England and it is now claimed the Swede would be tempted by overtures emanating out of Old Trafford.

However, he is reportedly only willing to accept a move should the Red Devils axe under-fire boss Louis van Gaal.

While both were at Ajax in the early 2000s, they are believed to have fallen out and Ibrahimovic did not like the way he was treated in Amsterdam.

After a largely dismal season in charge, the Dutchman has found himself under intense scrutiny as the daunting figure of Jose Mourinho looms large over the Theatre of Dreams.

Ironically enough, the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ himself is said to enjoy a fine relationship with the striker, having coached him for a year while with Inter Milan.

Manchester United fans – on a scale of 1 to 10 – how ridiculously happy are you about this? Or are you dreading a potential Ibra/Jose love in at Old Trafford?
