Boosted by Higuain cash, Napoli plot stunning Man United raid

It’s been hard for the punters in the Transfer Tavern to keep up with the domino effect caused by Paul Pogba’s potential move to Manchester United.

Boosted by the huge fee, Juventus are thought to be closing in on a move for Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain, in turn swelling Napoli’s coffers this summer.

Now, those at the Stadio San Paolo could use some of that cash to raid Jose Mourinho back at Old Trafford.

All very confusing.

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sportthe Southern Italian side are eyeing a move for Red Devils defender Matteo Darmian this summer.

Since joining the club from Torino, the 26-year old has struggled for form and fitness in equal measure, often losing his place to Antonio Valencia.

That’s how bad things got.

Still, the Azzurri international is highly rated in his homeland and the Neapolitans reportedly eye him as an option as they begin life without their master marksman.

Does Darmian have a future under Mourinho? Let us know below…
