While life is pretty good amongst the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern right now, recent comments in regards to Jose Mourinho’s future have somewhat concerned them. Indeed, our resident Red Devils are slowly falling in love with the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’, so losing him so soon would be a scary notion.
Though not everyone was delighted upon his arrival at Old Trafford in May 2016, the fact he’s restored a trophy-winning mentality at the Theatre of Dreams has been celebrated, so his recent praising of moneybags Paris Saint-Germain seriously concerned the punters propping up our bar.
With that in mind, reports from the Sun have proven really rather unwelcome today. They claim the French giants WILL try and lure the Portuguese to Ligue 1 this summer and reportedly believe they have the secret ‘ingredient’ to finally land the 54-year-old.
Indeed, sporting director Antero Henrique – who worked with Mourinho at Porto – is currently working for PSG and the club are also thought to be prepared to ditch Unai Emery, should he fail to deliver the Champions League.
As you can imagine, this sort of news has really worried the United fans who frequent the Tavern in their droves.
PSG have already proven that they are not scared of breaking all kinds of records to deliver success. With Kylian Mbappe and Neymar both signed this summer, Les Parisians certainly aren’t afraid of ruffling a few feathers to ensure they have the best chance of winning the Champions League.
