With the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern starting to worry about their chances of making the Champions League AGAIN this season, it’s fair to say the locals propping up the bar need their minds taking off yesterday’s frustrating draw with Hull City.
Such is the nature of the Old Trafford giants these days, it largely seems that the only thing able to cheer them up is the topic of transfers. Well, thanks to confirmation from their official website, there’s at least something new to talk about.
They’ve confirmed reserve defender Sadiq El Fitouri has moved to League One outfit Chesterfield after failing to break the first-team at the Theatre of Dreams, following his arrival from the infamous Salford City in 2015. A versatile 22-year-old, he can operate in either full-back or central defence, though struggled to make an impact in either berth.
He’s made 3 appearances for the Libyan international side during his career thus far and joins Gary Caldwell at the Spireites, with the United fans wondering just what could have been.
