Contract talks stall with Man United man concerned over role under Mourinho

The Manchester United fans who frequent the Transfer Tavern in their droves are fully expecting a rather busy summer under Jose Mourinho indeed.

With the resident Red Devils eager to see the side compete for the Premier League title at long last, links with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti have gone down a storm in recent weeks.

Still, it’s not all about incomings this summer. Indeed, reports from the Daily Mirror have suggested a player could be heading for an Old Trafford exit.

According to their report, young United stopper Dean Henderson has seen his contract talks stall at the Theatre of Dreams amid concerns over his first-team football.

With David De Gea and Sergio Romero ahead of him in the pecking order, the England U20 man will surely face a battle to truly impose himself on first-team proceedings.

The likes of Everton and West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on signing the 20-year-old should he opt to leave the Manchester giants as a result of his stalled talks.

While United have a proud history in giving their academy graduates a chance in the first-team, our resident Red Devils would understand his decision should he want to leave.
