Decision wanted in days as Mourinho grows frustrated over Man United move, plug could be pulled

It’s not been the most entertaining summer for the Manchester United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, who’ve only been able to welcome Victor Lindelof to the club since the end of last term.

Indeed, Jose Mourinho is reportedly growing frustrated at the lack of movement from his side thus far and reports from the Sun today seem to agree with that particular notion.

They claim the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ is ready to pull OUT of a deal for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic this summer, despite some strong links with a move for the Serbian bruiser. Touted as a potential target at Old Trafford, the Blues star has been previously reported to be keen on the idea of a switch.

However, this report suggests Mourinho is ready to call a deal between the two clubs off. The Portuguese is said to feel as if his former club are stringing United along while they look for a replacement for Matic, with Monaco star Tiemoué Bakayoko linked with a move to west London.

Jose is believed to want a decision on whether or not Chelsea will allow their midfielder to depart in the next 48 hours or so and, to be fair, our resident Red Devils do not blame him. Like the boss, they hope this saga is wrapped up quickly – no matter the outcome.
