‘Did we include a buy-back clause?’ – Man United fans show love for Rooney after Man City goal

Though they weren’t playing last night, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern let out an almighty roar at one stage.

While it didn’t prove to be the winner, the 31-year-old notched for Everton at the Etihad last night, to make it 200 Premier League goals in his storied career.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how Man United fans on Twitter reacted to Rooney’s goal against City last night.
