‘Good chance’ 24-year-old Man United believe can be a ‘world beater’ joins in 2018 – Report

Though Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side sit second in the Premier League table, the punters propping up the bar here in the Transfer Tavern are far from happy with how the season has panned out thus far. Indeed, our resident Red Devils believe there are far too many off the field issues having an impact on the side.

Still, there’s certainly one sure-fire way to cheer them up. In fact, there’s nothing better for our drinkers than a nice and juicy transfer rumour to get the people excited.

So, comments from Dean Jones of Bleacher Report in his extensive look into United’s potential January window, the journalist drops a rather interesting transfer line in regards to a Brazilian midfielder. Looking at potential targets, Jones reveals all on the Red Devils’ interest in Shakhtar Donetsk star, Fred.

Those at Old Trafford are understood to be ‘convinced’ the 24-year-old can become a ‘world beater’ and that there is a ‘good chance’ the attacking midfielder could join the club at some point in 2018. Indeed, the player himself is said to be keen on a move, much to the delight of the United fans in our bar.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Fred thoroughly impressed against Manchester City in the Champions League, so the idea of seeing him arrive to supplement an already talent-packed front line is a seriously exciting one.

One of United’s major problems this season has centred around their lack of creativity without Paul Pogba and Fred would certainly change that, giving the likes of Pogba and Romelu Lukaku so much to feed off going forward.
