Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are discussing potentially big changes to their side ahead of the summer transfer window, as they look to pass the time before tonight’s Europa League semi-final with Celta Vigo.
The Red Devils once again face a fight to keep hold of goalkeeper David De Gea as Real Madrid circle overhead but there has been suggestions Jose Mourinho is willing to do a deal, which would see the Portuguese boss seek a new stopper.
According to CalcioMercato, Manchester United are keen on AC Milan’s teenager sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma and they’ll be thrilled to hear the Italian ace’s super-agent Mino Raiola is in no rush to secure a new deal for his client.
Widely tipped as a future star, Milan are desperate to keep hold of Donnarumma this summer and have reportedly offered him fresh terms worth €3.2m-a-year, as well as the chance of captaining the San Siro giants next season.
However, Raiola is looking for €4m-a-year for his client and that’s led to clashes with Donnarumma’s parents, who are keen for their son to pen a deal deal with AC Milan and extend his stay with the Italian club.
Our landlord agrees with the youngster’s parents and believes staying put at AC Milan is the best course of action for now, although he admits he can’t see Donnarumma staying there for too many more years.
