Manchester United fans here in the Tavern are still yet to get over the disappointment of their Champions League exit, as they hope their side can go one better next time out.
The Red Devils have suffered with injuries throughout the current campaign as a couple of big name players are still spending time out on the sidelines.
Indeed, Ander Herrera returned to the Manchester United squad for their Champions League second-leg match against Sevilla, but this was shortlived as the Spaniard picked up an injury after just 15 minutes.
Although, it appears that a return may not be too far away as the international break couldn’t have come at a better time, with fitness expert Ben Dinnery revealing some positive news for Manchester United fans on Twitter.
Herrera targets a return after the international break: "I feel really good. I’ve been training with the team for five days now, and I feel good, I feel fit and ready to help the team. Now is the time to finish the season as well as I can." #MUFC pic.twitter.com/VRCVhV5M6p

This is great news for Manchester United at a key point in their campaign as they go on in search for European football, with Herrera’s return offering some quality back-up cover in the middle of the park. And, with Paul Pogba’s future still up in the air after a less than convincing season, United will be hoping that the Spaniard can provide some healthy competition for the Frenchman from here on in.
The Herrera update has delighted many of our local Mancunians here in the Tavern, as the Spaniard has been one of the most consistent performers for United in years gone by. And, with Paul Pogba failing to live up to expectations in the current campaign, the 28-year-old could slot right into the starting XI for their next fixture against Swansea City.
