Manchester United have been a huge disappointment in the current campaign as Jose Mourinho continues to drive the club backwards.
The Red Devils would have had their sights set on challenging for the Premier League title prior to the start of the current campaign, but it now looks as if they’ll struggle to secure a top four spot.
Indeed, Jose Mourinho desperately needs to ensure consistency domestically as they’ve found themselves slipping up against sides that they really should be beating.
However, a couple of Mourinho’s signings haven’t helped the cause during their time at Old Trafford as they continue to disappoint, with supporters beginning to lose their faith.
With that in mind, these TWO Manchester United flops are Mourinho’s worst signings…
Lee Grant made the move to Manchester United from Stoke City during the summer transfer window in what was a very questionable piece of transfer business.
Indeed, the goalkeeper has gone on to make a very small impact in the side as he continues to wait in the wings behind the forever-reliable David De Gea and Sergio Romero. But, he didn’t exactly make the most of his rare opportunity in the side against Derby County as he conceded a goal late on.
Victor Lindelof made the move to Manchester United during the summer of 2017 as one of the most promising defenders in world football, but he just hasn’t been able to live up to the hype as he has made more mistakes than positive contributions in the side.
Indeed, the Swedish international has had to settle for substitute appearances due to his lack of consistency when given the opportunity, so it’s fair to say that he has been a complete waste of money.
