The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are still recovering from Tuesday nights shock defeat at home to Sevilla. To add insult to injury, Mourinho claimed after the game that being knocked out of Europe was not new to United fans, having knocked the club out with Real Madrid and Porto previously. The Portuguese tactician has now claimed (posted by the club’s official Twitter page) that he was happy with his squad’s reaction after the game and that the players are now on the same page.
"I'm happy with what I saw in my players after the match," says the boss. "I'm happy that people were sad and frustrated. I'm happy we were exactly on the same page and I'm happy to see the boys coming back again on my page." #MUFC

The United faithful watched on as two goals from second-half substitute, Wissam Ben Yedder, put the Spanish club 2-0 up with ten minutes to play at Old Trafford. Romelu Lukaku would grab a late consolation goal but ultimately, United tumbled out of Europe without causing the lesser fancied Spaniards many, if any, problems. This morning United fans were waking up to the news that Sevilla would be facing Bayern Munich the competitions last eight, although many would be thinking it should be them.
The United fans propping up our bar have now turned their attention to Mourinho’s comments from today’s press conference. The ex-Inter Milan and Chelsea coach has claimed that he is happy with what he saw in his players after the match and that he’s happy that people were sad and frustrated. The strange comments from Mourinho come just 24 hours before the Red Devils’ FA Cup quarter-final clash at home to Brighton tomorrow, as the Mancunian giants look to bounce back from their European heartbreak.

But his own attitude 'the club is used to this' is wrong, as was his approach to the game. He must apologise
