With Manchester United likely to splash the cash once more over the course of the next few months, the Red Devils around the bar are dreaming about big name arrivals.
Having landed Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic last summer, the Old Trafford giants could bring in even more illustrious individuals as they attempt to restore former glories at long last.
Well, according to ESPN, United have been offered one of the biggest names in world football. They claim Real Madrid have reportedly sounded out those at the Theatre of Dreams over the possibility of taking James Rodriguez away from the Spanish capital.
One of the most expensive players of all time, the 25-year-old has fallen down the pecking order with Los Blancos over the last season or so and the Champions League holders are said to have also informed the likes of Chelsea and PSG as to his availability.
Apparently, it’s a similar situation to the one that saw Angel di Maria eventually move to United in 2014. The Premier League side were reportedly informed of his availability towards the end of the previous season and ended up buying him for big money.
While the fans in the bar are excited about the idea of seeing James arrive, they hope he’d turn out better than the aforementioned Argentine.
