It’s fair to say the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are yet to be wholly convinced by a certain Marouane Fellaini.
In the eyes of many, the Belgian is a symbol of the club’s failures over the last few years, entirely reminiscent of the David Moyes era after becoming the first marquee signing at the club post-Sir Alex Ferguson.
He may not be the easiest footballer on the eye, though few would doubt the 29-year-old’s effectiveness when deployed correctly, as he was in the Europa League final win over Ajax.
A direct bruiser, it seems the ex-Standard Liege man doesn’t care knows it, having little time for those who criticise him.

Indeed, a fairly unflattering photo of him trying to control the ball during last night’s UEFA Super Cup loss to Real Madrid emerged, much to the delight of those not in the Fellaini camp online.
However, not one to resist an opportunity to laugh at himself, the midfielder took to Twitter to THANK people for posting it and sending it his way.
At least he sees the funny side.
