Journalist’s Man United transfer line likely to excite fans as life after Ibra begins

It’s already been a busy summer of activity for the Manchester United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.

With a deal for Victor Lindelof already agreed, Zlatan Ibrahimovic already having left and Alvaro Morata strongly linked, it promises to be another mammoth few months at Old Trafford.

So, claims from notable Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri have sparked even more excitement amongst our United-man punters. Indeed, he suggests the Premier League giants HAVE made initial enquiries to Torino over the idea of signing Andrea Belotti this summer.

While no bid is yet thought to have been made for the marksman, the 23-year-old is believed to be on the club’s radar.

The likes of Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the Azzzurri ace, following a wonderful campaign in Turin. He notched 28 goals in all competitions for Il Toro and has emerged as one of the hottest striking prospects in Europe.

Now life after Zlatan begins for the United fans propping up our bar, the idea of seeing Belotti arrive has at least softened the blow somewhat.

Whether or not an offer will be made remains to be seen, though even the mere notion of his arrival has our resident Red Devils dreaming of the title.
