Manchester United: Summer transfer policy in report about Alexis Sanchez has supporters bashing ‘lies’ - Manchester United

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could attempt to land two forwards on permanent deals in the summer once Odion Ighalo’s loan expires and they’re able to offload Alexis Sanchez, but many supporters don’t believe a word of it.

Sanchez, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan, will reportedly be sold in the summer to make way for other forward options despite quotes from Solskjaer last month hinting that he was ready to give the Chilean another chance to impress. Even though United didn’t give the Serie A leaders an option to buy at the end of his loan, sources from Manchester Evening News understand that the club are hoping an improved spell of form in Italy will drive up his market value for when he eventually returns to Old Trafford – allowing the Red Devils to potentially cash in on him even more.

Due to Marcus Rashford’s injury, United have been forced to bolster their forward options in order to avert a striker crisis, with this report stating that they could be in the market for two attackers next summer in a bid to strengthen their forward line.
