Monday Night Football is back with a bang as Manchester United travel to Liverpool in just a few days time.
Though both the Reds and the Red Devils in the Transfer Tavern were heading into the season with a strong feeling of optimism, the season has already taken twists and turns for them.
Jose Mourinho is yet to wholly convince in charge at Old Trafford while Jurgen Klopp has endeared himself to the Kop faithful. Still, the loss to Burnley earlier this term is indicative of their inconsistency.
With both expected to challenge for the title, the key difference between the two has been revealed by stat supremos Opta.
They’ve tweeted the fact Klopp’s Liverpool have covered the MOST ground in the Premier League this season with 815km.
815 – Liverpool have covered the most (815km) while Man Utd have covered the least (736km) distance in the Premier League this season. Gulf.

Meanwhile, United have covered the LEAST with just 736km under the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’.
While there’s a lot more to the game than that, it’s indicative of the gulf between the two sides’ philosophy under their reasonably new coaches.
