Man United boss drops hint in regards to much talked about forward

After not being overly involved during Deadline Day, the Manchester United fans propping up the bar have been discussing their chances of closing in on the Top 4 tonight as the Red Devils gear up for the visit of Hull City tonight.

Despite losing to the Tigers in the EFL Cup semi-final, though still progressing through to the final round, United are on a good run of form right now and the punters in the bar believe the Top Four is in sight. Things are going well right now, though in typical Jose Mourinho fashion, he’s been rather scathing in his criticism of one of his stars.

Much has been made about Anthony Martial’s form of late, with the Frenchman being dropped amid suggestions he was unhappy at his bit-part role and it seems as if the 21-year-old didn’t do enough in the FA Cup tie with Wigan to make his way back into the starting XI.

“Enough to be on the bench”, said the Special One, when asked if last season’s top scorer had impressed (with quotes sourced from the Sun.)

“He has to perform better than the others who are competing for the same positions.

“His position is one where we have lots of options.”

Mourinho’s quotes have caused concern amongst the United fans in the bar, who are starting to wonder if Martial will leave.

Will Martial be at United next season? Let us know below….
