Man United capturing Real Madrid £4.5m-rated prodigy could be long-term replacement for Valencia

Manchester United fans across the Transfer Tavern are like many other teams, hoping for their season to end as it all recently came crashing down. As early favourites for the Premier League, United showed why to start with but then drastically halted their progress, allowing Man City to ease towards the league title.

Even with the huge amounts of money Manchester United again spent ahead of the season, it wasn’t enough to compete with Man City as they’re currently separated by 13 points, showing the huge gulf in class between the two Manchester clubs.

Man United will not be happy with this at all and next season will eye success in order to condemn the collapse in form earlier this season, which scuppered Champions League and Premier League dreams.

As well as eyeing big-time stars right now, United must also consider the future of the team with players getting ever older. A player who soon maybe replaced is Antonio Valencia and us punters think a brilliant Real Madrid youngster in the form of Achraf Hakimi could be a top replacement.

Only valued at £4.50 million on Transfermarkt, Hakimi is only 19-years-old and has years ahead of him to extended his abilities. It’s a credit to his talent to see that already this season, he has made 15 appearances for Real Madrid in a number of different competitions.

As solid as Valencia has been for years now, Man United will have to start thinking past the 32-year-old for a newer talent to come into Old Trafford. Hakimi certainly appears to have the making of a great right-back and United would be wise to try and strike a deal with him now before it’s too late.
