Man United close to quick-fire double deal, three-year contract close to being agreed after forward signing

With the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern expecting much more in the way of genuinely challenging for the Premier League title next season, they are desperate to see Jose Mourinho continue to add to his squad.

Following the big money arrival of Victor Lindelof, our resident Red Devils were eager to see the club move quickly to improve their central striking options, so reports from ESPN have proved slightly underwhelming.

While they do hint at a double signing, the individuals in question are reportedly youth players, looking to strengthen the next wave of United stars. Indeed, the Old Trafford giants are understood to have signed Largie Ramazani from Charlton and are reportedly closing in on the addition of French youngster Aliou Badara Traore.

The former – a striker – is believed to have penned a four-year deal, while the latter is said to be close to signing a three-year deal after spending time with PSG’s youth academy.

Both look to be linking up with former England midfielder Nicky Butt at the club’s academy this summer and, while it’s not the most inspiring of transfer tidbits, our resident United fans are pretty happy about it.

Having boasted such a proud tradition in developing young players, perhaps these two will have large roles to play in the years to come.
