Man United close to securing impressive Dutchman on four-year deal

An FA Cup win, the arrival of Jose Mourinho and the tying down of Marcus Rashford in the space of just a few weeks has sent the Manchester United fans in the Tavern Tavern into a joyous mood. 

Now, according to Goalthe good times will continue to roll at Old Trafford as the club prepare to offer Dutch defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah improved terms on his deal.

The 18-year old was forced into the first-team by Louis van Gaal following an injury crisis at the turn of the year and while he lacked any sort of experience in the top level prior to that, seriously impressed.

Able to operate in either defence or midfield, the talented teen is thought to have agreed a new four-year deal at the club, along with the aforementioned Rashford and fellow teammate Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.

The Dutch under-19 international joined the club’s academy from Ajax two years ago and was entering his final 12 months on the deal he initially penned a the Theatre of Dreams.
