Man United decision down to player – Mourinho wants him

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been absolutely delighted with their start to the season.

Indeed, though the summer transfer window proved to be relatively frustrating at times for our resident Red Devils, the signings of Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic look huge at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho’s squad look as if they really could restore former glories at Old Trafford this summer, so the punters propping up our bar are ready to accept news coming out of the United camp.

According to the Daily Mail, Valencia could land Andreas Pereira on loan this summer, despite the 21-year-old impressing over the course of pre-season.

Mourinho is believed to be eager to keep him in the squad, though the decision to move to La Liga on loan is thought to be largely down to the player.

The Brazilian playmaker may struggle for first-team minutes amid United’s talent-packed attack, so despite Mourinho wanting him, the club have reportedly left the decision down to him.

Despite being a popular figure amongst our United-mad punters, they wouldn’t blame him for leaving on loan.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Though the youngster certainly does have a big future ahead of him, surely he’d be better served to develop elsewhere while United sort themselves out.

Few would blame him and playing for a big club like Valencia could be hugely beneficial.
