Man United edge closer to sensational deal for Juventus ace, club open to €80m sale

Wow. The Transfer Tavern has erupted into frenzied delight at the latest revelation ahead of what promises to be the most lavish transfer window of all time.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City fans don’t get on at the best of times, though even their rivalry has been intensified further following a report from notable journalist Duncan Castles.

Writing on One World Sports, he claims that Juventus ARE open to selling superstar midfielder Paul Pogba this summer and have encouraged his agents in their attempts to land a deal elsewhere.

The Old Lady will reportedly hold out for the €80m agreement that reached with Barcelona for the Frenchman last year, though the Spanish giants are now believed to have focused their attentions elsewhere.

He goes on to say that while Chelsea and City have both been linked with major money moves with the 23-year old, they have turned their attentions elsewhere.

It is believed that the only firm offers have come from the Red Devils, who ironically let the Les Blues star go for free in 2012, and French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Would buying Pogba back for such big money be the biggest transfer blunder of all time? Or is he too good for people to care?
