The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are pretty much fully focused on their undying hope to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrive, though it appears the club are plotting on elsewhere while the superstar Swede makes up his mind.
According to Emanuele Giulianelli, the Red Devils have seen a £28m offer for Roma defender Kostas Manolas snubbed by those in the Italian capital.
Having already signed £30m Eric Bailly, it appears as if Jose Mourinho is aiming to restructure his defence, particularly with his apparent doubts over Daley Blind.
The Roma star proved himself to be one of the most reliable on the continent with his stunning form for the Giallorossi last term and has been linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal recently.
However, it has reportedly been those at Old Trafford who have made the first attempt to land the Greek international this summer, with Giulianelli also claiming an improved offer is likely to follow.
Has Manolas ever done enough to convince you he’s worth £28m?
