As the punters in the Transfer Tavern prepare for a huge Manchester derby tonight, you can imagine the fiery atmosphere in the bar.
Though Paul Pobga will miss tonight’s game, the Frenchman is often the topic of debate in the Tavern, such is his standing in the game. So, imagine the reaction amongst the Red Devils in the bar to quotes emanating out of Italy.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, former Sampdoria star Antonio Cassano has suggested the former Juventus ace has been lucky in life to get to his level, suggesting he and Mario Balotelli aren’t worth the money spent on them throughout their careers.
While Pogba is clearly a huge talent, the world-record fee United shelled out for him this summer and Cassano doesn’t seem wholly convinced.
