Indeed, a move that rocked the whole of the United fan-base, as they firmly believed they’d secured the services of a player who can lead them to success in the future. And, their love for the Chilean is set to further increase, as according to reports in the Sun, Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez is set to embark on a personal fitness regime to improve his performances.

Although he’s shown moments of brilliance during his days at Arsenal, Alexis feels that he’s still a long way off the pace after having an inconsistent season that’s caused for criticism to be thrown his way. Indeed, Sanchez has been staying behind after training sessions to get extra time in the gym, as he prays that all his efforts reward him with a positive start to his career in Manchester.

Indeed, the effort and drive being shown by the 29-year-old is something that Arsenal fans very rarely came to witness during his time at the Emirates, with the Chilean’s determination beginning to turn a few heads here in the Tavern.

And, a United insider threw a couple more positive comments the way of the Chilean, as he gave an insight into exactly how their new signing operates:

“Nobody had asked him to do it but he feels there is an extra sharpness to be had.

“He has got his head down and you can see the steam coming off his body after working outside, it’s so impressive.

“He doesn’t have to do it, he just insists on it. You will not find a better pro around really, he’s superb.”

Landlord’s Verdict:

There’s no doubt that Alexis Sanchez is working hard to impress with his new club, and this will only go to boost his time at Old Trafford with hard-work often paying off. A side of the Chilean that was very rarely seen at the Emirates, which could see Sanchez reach the next level in a Manchester United side that has the calibre of players to aid the progression of the 29-year-old.
